Great try, Yaroslav! You're already confidently writing in English, and it shows—keep up the good work, you're making progress.

This is my first English diary. Today I woke up very early because I had some ideas about my project. I tried to write them, but I was too sleepy. After coffee, I felt much better and started working again. Sometimes I think my English is getting better, and sometimes it is not, but anyway I keep going.

  • Write 3 sentences about what you did yesterday. Start with: 'Yesterday I woke up...', 'Then I...', 'After that I...'
  • Write 5 sentences about your project in the Past Simple. Use the words: 'had', 'tried', 'started'
  • Practice spelling verbs: write 5 pairs of words and their past tense, for example: 'try — tried', 'feel — felt', 'wake — woke'
  • Use the prepared diary phrases and write a short paragraph: 'This is my first English diary.' 'Today I woke up...' 'After coffee I felt...'
